Day 524: Ah, so that’s how the plank walkup is done

Day 524

Today’s early morning training set was mostly of the “pull” variety: barbell hang cleans, single-leg back extensions, single-arm cable rows, side-to-side pullups, and then finally, plank walkups. The last time I tried to do plank walkups, I didn’t have time to read the exercise description and just tried to make something up. This time, I was able to read the description and do the exercise properly. Those were much tougher than I expected! Basically, you do a plank, starting with your elbows on the ground, and then raise your body up one arm at a time until you get to a pushup position, and then lower back one arm at a time back to the plank position.
